U16s and touring South African side

On Saturday 11 October a number of JESS students played a friendly game representing Arabian Knights RFC U16 First XV against a touring South African team. The South African players are currently on tour playing friendly games in Dubai representing North Transvaal, a provincial team of U16 and mainly U18s. They are a combination of schools and most play at academies such as Lions, Puma's and Griquas. This is an accomplished South African team and with the majority of players moving off to university soon, the game against Arabian Knights would have been their last game for the province. A special mention to the Arabian Knights Captain Max Lewis Palmer and Ned Maher who played exceptionally well in defence. JESS Students involved:

Luc Lamarre

Jack Pendlebury

Ned Maher
